Tajikistan and the EBRD sign loan and grant agreements worth more than 62.45 million euros

In Dushanbe on 2026-10-29, the Republic of Tajikistan and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development signed loan and grant agreements for the project “Water Supply and Sewerage in the City of Kulob” worth 9.6 million euros and the project “Rehabilitation of the Baljuvon – Sari Khosor Road” worth 52.85 million euros, amounting to 62.45 million euros in total.

The Baljuvon – Sari Khosor road project aims to rehabilitate a 54.1-kilometre road, build 10 bridges and install 121 culverts. It is also intended to improve the resilience and safety of transport links in the country’s mountainous areas.
