DUSHANBE, 14.10.2026 /NIAT "Khovar"/. 14 October is recognised as World Standards Day.
The report says standards play an important role in ensuring the quality and safety of goods and services, developing industry, expanding international trade and introducing new technologies.
In Tajikistan, aligning national standards with international requirements, developing the technical regulatory framework and supporting domestic producers are also among the sector's key tasks. On this occasion, a Khovar reporter spoke with Islomiddin Rahmon, director of the Tojikstandart Agency.
