Upgrading of sports facilities and construction of preschool institutions expand in Yovon district
Local authorities in Yovon district discussed the modernisation of the central stadium and improvements to training conditions. At the same time, plans are in place to build 10 preschool facilities at general education schools in the district.
Yovon district chairman Valizoda Ikromiddin inspected the current condition of the district’s central stadium and said timely measures were important for its upgrade. The report says modern stadiums play a significant role in sports development, identifying young talent and promoting a healthy lifestyle.
It also states that repair, reconstruction and modernisation of the central stadium could help expand sporting activity and make the venue a key site for sports, cultural and leisure events for residents and visitors. Alongside this, construction of preschool institutions is continuing in the district.
To implement the provisions of the State Programme for the Development of Preschool Education in the Republic of Tajikistan for 2026-2030, 10 preschool facilities are planned at general education schools in Yovon district. The initiative is intended to improve conditions for children’s education and upbringing and raise preschool enrolment.
