Khorasan Razavi governor meets Tajik tourism development committee chief

At the meeting, attended by a number of Khorasan Razavi provincial officials, the two sides reviewed ways to expand cooperation in tourism between cities in Iran and Tajikistan, particularly with a focus on Khorasan Razavi.

The governor of Khorasan Razavi, pointing to historical and cultural commonalities, stressed the need to deepen economic and trade ties, expand air links, develop health tourism, exchange travel tours and hold cultural days between the two countries.

The parties also said they were ready to work together on creating parks dedicated to cultural figures and on producing television programmes promoting the tourist attractions of both countries.
