ECOLOGICAL CODE. The document was adopted to ensure the rational use of natural resources and environmental protection
On 21 October 2026, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, signed the Ecological Code of the Republic of Tajikistan. The document had already been adopted by the House of Representatives and approved by the National Assembly of the Supreme Assembly of the Republic of Tajikistan.
DUSHANBE, 22.10.2026 /NIAT “Khovar”/. On 21 October 2026, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, signed the Ecological Code of the Republic of Tajikistan.
The code had earlier been adopted by the House of Representatives and approved by the National Assembly of the Supreme Assembly of the Republic of Tajikistan.
According to the report, the document is aimed at improving the legal framework for environmental protection, the rational use of natural resources and the assurance of environmental security.
