President Emomali Rahmon receives Chinese Premier Li Qiang

On 19 October 2026, at the Palace of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan and Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, received Li Qiang, Premier of the State Council of the People's Republic of China.

According to the report, Li Qiang is in Tajikistan on an official visit and to take part in the next meeting of the Council of Heads of Government of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation member states.

At the start of the talks, Emomali Rahmon said that Tajikistan gives constant and special attention to strengthening and expanding cooperation with the People's Republic of China.
