Emomali Rahmon and Rustami Emomali launch production at Shakhdob LLC in Dushanbe

On 27 October 2026, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation Emomali Rahmon, and the Chairman of Dushanbe, Rustami Emomali, launched production at Shakhdob LLC in the Shohmansur district of Dushanbe. The enterprise was established on the initiative of entrepreneur Fathullo Sahibov.

The plant has three production lines: two lines for drinking water and other beverages, and a third line for confectionery products. According to the report, the equipment was imported and is energy-efficient. The planned capacity of the first two lines is 400000 containers per day, while the confectionery line produces more than 3 tonnes daily.

The report also says that 120 people have been given permanent jobs and that 150-kilowatt solar panels have been installed to reduce power consumption. Rahmon praised the entrepreneur's contribution to domestic production and instructed officials to complete construction of the new industrial facility to a high standard and on time.
