Tajik scientist presents glacier research in Almaty
Dilorom Kayumova, a leading researcher at the Institute for the Study of Glaciers and Cryosphere of the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan, presented work on Tajikistan's scientific potential, glacier studies and Central Asia's water resources at an international event in Almaty.
Dushanbe, 17.10.2026 /NIAT Khovar/. Dilorom Kayumova, a leading researcher at the Institute for the Study of Glaciers and Cryosphere of the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan, presented Tajikistan's scientific potential, research on glaciers and Central Asia's water resources, as well as the role of women in modern science, at an international event held on 15 October in Almaty, Kazakhstan.
The discussion brought together participants from Tajikistan, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, covering a range of scientific fields, including glaciology, cognitive research, medical technologies and artificial intelligence.
