High-level event held in Geneva on “Sustainable peace in Central Asia: lessons from the Khujand Declaration of Eternal Friendship”

On 13 October 2026 in Geneva, as part of the Geneva Peace Forum, a high-level panel discussion entitled “Sustainable peace in Central Asia: lessons from the Khujand Declaration of Eternal Friendship” was held.

The event was organised on the initiative of the United Nations University for Peace and the Geneva Peacebuilding Platform. It discussed the importance of the Khujand Declaration of Eternal Friendship for strengthening peace, mutual trust and regional cooperation in Central Asia.
