On 19 October 2026, Mohammadreza Aref, First Vice-President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, arrived in Tajikistan to attend a meeting of the SCO Council of Heads of Government.
On 19 October 2026, the First Vice-President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Mohammadreza Aref, arrived in the Republic of Tajikistan to take part in the meeting of the Council of Heads of Government (prime ministers) of the member states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO).
At Dushanbe International Airport, he was greeted by Khokim Kholikzoda, First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan, and other officials.
