Golamhossein Motafari speaks at the “Khatlon 2026” forum in Bokhtar

On Thursday, 2026-10-22 (Gregorian calendar), Golamhossein Motafari, governor of Khorasan Razavi, attended the investment forum “Khatlon 2026” and the “Khatlon exhibition of agricultural, industrial and handicraft products” in Bokhtar city at the invitation of Davlatali Said, head of Khatlon region, and spoke at the opening ceremony. In part of his remarks, he described Khorasan and Khatlon as two brothers linked by historical, cultural and linguistic ties. He outlined Khorasan’s capacities in transit, agriculture, food industries, industry, mining and tourism, and described Khatlon as a valuable and natural partner for Khorasan. The governor of Khorasan Razavi also said he was ready to share the province’s experience in agricultural processing, packaging, product marketing, building materials production, industrial equipment and the export of technical and engineering services to Khatlon region.
