Tajikistan and Georgia expand cooperation on improving the pension system
In Dushanbe on 14 October 2026, Abdurahmon Halimzod discussed digitalisation of the pension system, electronic services, data management and the integration of government information systems with representatives of Georgia’s Pension Fund.
The Director of the Social Insurance and Pensions Agency under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan met representatives of Georgia’s Pension Fund to discuss the digitalisation of the pension system, the provision of electronic services, data management and the integration of state information systems.
According to the official Khovar news channel, the meeting took place within the project “Modernisation of Social Protection and Economic Integration in Tajikistan”. The two sides also exchanged views on personal data protection, information security and the financial sustainability of the pension system.
