Emomali Rahmon launches implementation of the Vahdat–Obigarm road reconstruction project

The report says that on 24 October 2026, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, during a working visit to the city of Vahdat, launched the implementation of the Vahdat–Obigarm road reconstruction project.

Officials briefed the Head of State that the road is 70 km long. The project provides for two traffic lanes in both directions, with a carriageway width of 10-12 m and a road shoulder width of 2.5 m.
