Farrukh Sharifzoda meets Sun Weidong, Secretary-General of the Central Asia-China format
Tajikistan's Deputy Foreign Minister met in Dushanbe with the Secretary-General of the Central Asia-China format and discussed expanding cooperation and preparations for upcoming meetings.
DUSHANBE, 2026-10-27 /Khovar/. Farrukh Sharifzoda, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, visited the Secretariat of the Central Asia-China format and met its Secretary-General Sun Weidong.
The two sides discussed ways to expand cooperation within the format, as well as preparations for the seventh meeting of the format's Council of Foreign Ministers in 2026 and the third summit of the heads of state of the Central Asia-China format, due to be held in China in 2027.
