Memorandum signed on developing scientific and educational work in water diplomacy

In Dushanbe on 2026-10-27, a trilateral memorandum was signed between the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Tajik Agrarian University named after Shirinsho Shotemur, and the International Water Management Institute (IWMI) in Central Asia. A bilateral memorandum was also signed between the Academy of Public Administration and the Agrarian University.

The main aim of the trilateral cooperation is to develop a joint master's programme in water diplomacy within the regional initiative Blue Peace Central Asia (2025-2029), which is being implemented with Swiss support.
