Tajikistan and the United Kingdom discuss cooperation in industry

Officials in Dushanbe discussed ways to expand cooperation in the industrial sector.
DUSHANBE, 2026-09-26 /Khovar/. The Republic of Tajikistan and the United Kingdom plan to strengthen cooperation in the industrial sector, Khovar reported, citing the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies of the Republic of Tajikistan.
Issues related to strengthening cooperation in industry were discussed at a meeting in Dushanbe between Tajikistan's Minister of Industry and New Technologies Sherali Kabir and Lord John Alderdice, the UK Government's Trade Representative for Central Asia and the Republic of Azerbaijan.
The two sides also considered expanding mutually beneficial cooperation in industry, geological exploration, staff training, extraction and deep processing of minerals.
