Prosecutors general of Tajikistan and Iran discuss strengthening legal cooperation

On 11 September 2026 in the city of Turkestan in the Republic of Kazakhstan, on the sidelines of the meeting of prosecutors general of the member states of the Economic Cooperation Organisation, a meeting took place between the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Tajikistan, Habibullo Vohidzoda, and the Prosecutor General of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Mohammad Kazem Movahhedi Ozod.
According to the Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Tajikistan, the sides noted the importance of the deep historical and cultural ties and the shared linguistic heritage of the two states, and underlined the steady development of interagency cooperation since the establishment of diplomatic relations.
