Matteo Patrone: The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development is implementing various projects in Tajikistan in the energy sector and the private sector
Matteo Patrone said the EBRD is ready to carry out more projects in Tajikistan, especially in energy and the private sector.
At the Palace of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, received Matteo Patrone, Vice President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. A press briefing was held after the meeting, with Patrone present. Patrone said the talks with President Rahmon covered ways to further improve cooperation and implement projects in different sectors of the country’s economy. He added that current cooperation is at a good level, and the bank is ready in future to support Tajikistan’s infrastructure sectors, including energy and the private sector, through various projects.
