Large enterprises in Tajikistan advised to strengthen ties with local producers

Dushanbe, 2026-10-15. The President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, respected Emomali Rahmon, said at a meeting with businesspeople and investors on 14 October that large enterprises should expand cooperation with local producers. He called for small and medium-sized enterprises to be brought into production chains through purchases of raw materials, goods and services.

The Head of State also said enterprise reconstruction should follow green economy principles, including saving electricity and water, reducing waste and introducing energy-saving technologies. He added that using well-known brands and the experience of established companies could help Tajikistan adopt quality standards, technologies and modern management methods, while supporting the development of production and services in the country.
