Event in Geneva held on “Sustainable peace in Central Asia: lessons of the Khujand Declaration of Eternal Friendship”

On 2026-10-13 in Geneva, on the sidelines of the Geneva Peace Forum, a high-level panel discussion was held on “Sustainable peace in Central Asia: lessons of the Khujand Declaration of Eternal Friendship”.

The event was organised by the United Nations University for Peace and the Geneva Peacebuilding Platform. It focused on the significance of the Khujand Declaration of Eternal Friendship for strengthening peace, mutual trust and expanding regional cooperation in Central Asia.
