It also said that the average cash sale rates for foreign currency at Tajik credit institutions were set as follows: 1 US dollar from 9.1600 to 9.2244 somoni; 1 euro from 10.1500 to 10.3396 somoni; 1 Russian rouble from 0.1020 to 0.1115 somoni.
The National Bank of Tajikistan warned that exchange transactions outside the head office, branches, bank service centres, money transfer points, ATMs and terminals are strictly prohibited. Failure by individuals to comply with this requirement is treated as an offence and may lead to administrative and criminal liability.
