Prospects for strengthening Tajikistan-Austria cooperation discussed

In Dushanbe on 12 October 2026, Yusuf Majidi spoke with Thomas Muehlann and Andrea Bacher about the current state and prospects of bilateral cooperation.
On 12 October 2026 in Dushanbe, First Deputy Minister of Finance of the Republic of Tajikistan Yusuf Majidi met Thomas Muehlann, Head of the Department of the Federal Ministry for European and International Affairs of the Republic of Austria, and Andrea Bacher, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Austria to Tajikistan.
According to the Ministry of Finance, the sides exchanged views on the current state and prospects for strengthening bilateral cooperation in priority areas, including sustainable development, implementation of infrastructure projects, healthcare, public finance management and attracting foreign investment.
The participants expressed readiness to deepen mutually beneficial cooperation and implement important social and economic projects.
