Emomali Rahmon awarded honorary doctor title by Korea University
During his official visit to the Republic of Korea, Emomali Rahmon visited Korea University and met with lecturers and students. At the start of the meeting, the university's academic council awarded him the honorary doctor title.
On 17 September 2026 / Gregorian 2026-09-17, as part of the official visit of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation Emomali Rahmon, to the Republic of Korea, he visited Korea University and held a warm meeting with its lecturers and students.
At the start of the meeting, by decision of the university's Academic Council, Leader of the Nation Emomali Rahmon was awarded the title of honorary doctor. The report was published by the official news agency Khovar.
