On 6 October 2026, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation Emomali Rahmon returned to Dushanbe after completing a working trip to the cities and districts of the Kulob area of Khatlon Region.
According to Khovar, the three-day visit was linked to preparations for the grand celebration of the 35th anniversary of State Independence. The trip covered the Farkhor and Vosse districts, as well as the city of Kulob.
