Deputy Prime Minister of Tajikistan visits the research laboratory of the Soil Science Institute

On 22.10.2026, the research laboratory of the Soil Science and Agrochemistry Institute of the Tajik Academy of Agricultural Sciences was put into use after renovation. According to the Academy of Agricultural Sciences of Tajikistan, the laboratory was established to help develop research work in soil science and agrochemistry, and to provide suitable conditions for scientific studies and the examination of soil characteristics.

Suleiman Ziyozoda, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan, said the laboratory is important for the development of agricultural sciences and for using scientific research results to advance the agricultural sector. With support from the Government of Tajikistan, the State Institution "Development of Entrepreneurship in Agriculture" equipped the laboratory with modern equipment under the project "Increasing Agricultural Resilience". The laboratory was also supplied with two mobile laboratory vehicles.
