Construction and improvement works being carried out in Abdurahmoni Jomi district

DUSHANBE, 20.09.2026 /Khovar/. A new pre-school and educational building has been put into use in Abdurahmoni Jomi district. According to the press service of the Chairman of Khatlon Region, the creation of new pre-school institutions and broader access for children to education and upbringing are among the Government's goals.

In Zarnisor village, a new pre-school institution for 60 children has been built and renovated with the initiative and contribution of local residents. In Sharifobod village, a Early Child Development Centre with two classrooms and capacity for 48 children has also been opened beside Secondary School No. 60, with support from the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Tajikistan.

In Pushkin village of the rural jamoat, an additional building next to Secondary School No. 28 has been commissioned, and the foundation stone has been laid for a pre-school for 100 children and a sports ground. Repair and asphalt-laying works on the 4-kilometre road in Zafarabad village are also continuing, while a new medical point building in Shahriston village of Vakhshon jamoat has been commissioned at a cost of 400,000 somoni.
