Meeting of education ministers of Central Asian states and Mongolia held

On 22 October 2026 in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan, a meeting of the education ministers of Central Asian states and Mongolia was held on the theme: “Development of regional cooperation through multilingual education in Central Asia and Mongolia”.

At the meeting, Tajikistan's Minister of Education and Science, Rahim Saidzoda, said such meetings provide an important opportunity to exchange national experience and identify ways to use linguistic diversity to improve education quality and strengthen good-neighbourly relations.
