More than 2,000 kilometres of roads repaired in Sughd Region

DUSHANBE, 2026-10-24 /Khovar/. In the first 9 months of 2026, 2,671.1 kilometres of roads were repaired in the cities and districts of Sughd Region, which is an important basis for improving the region’s transport infrastructure. Khovar reported this, citing the press service of the Chairman of Sughd Region.

Of the total repaired roads, 771.5 kilometres underwent major repair, 1,111.5 kilometres underwent routine repair, and 788.1 kilometres were covered with gravel.

During the same period, total trade turnover reached 18,762.6 million somoni and paid services totalled 4,977.5 million somoni, both higher than in the same period of 2025.
