“Dushanbe - the Heart of Tajikistan”: republican scientific-practical conference held

On 15 September 2026, the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan hosted a republican scientific-practical conference entitled “Dushanbe - the Heart of Tajikistan”. The event was dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan, according to Khovar citing the academy.

The conference noted that during the years of independence, thanks to the constructive and forward-looking policy of the President of the Republic, respected Emomali Rahmon, Dushanbe has developed at an unprecedented pace. It was also stated that the capital's appearance has been transformed, modern infrastructure has been built, and streets, squares, scientific and cultural institutions, social facilities and other important parts of the city have been significantly improved and beautified.
