Dushanbe wins republican contest “Science — The Light of Knowledge” with 65 prize places

DUSHANBE, 2026-10-29 /Khovar/. At the end of the republican contest “Science — The Light of Knowledge”, Dushanbe took first place with 65 prize places, including 12 first places, 24 second places and 29 third places. Sughd Region came second with 32 places, Khatlon Region third with 19 places, the cities and districts under republican administration fourth with 12 places, and the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region fifth with 3 places. The results were announced today at the closing and awards ceremony. The ceremony was held at the State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre named after Sadriddin Ayni. Deputy Prime Minister Dilrabo Mansuri, who heads the contest commission, congratulated participants on the successful completion of the competition.
