More than 9,000 Tajik citizens were placed in jobs in Russia in the first 10 months of 2026

Khovar said that during the same period, 32,523,239 roubles in unpaid wages owed to labour migrants were also recovered. The representative office said its priorities include helping citizens find jobs, creating decent working conditions, ensuring social guarantees, and protecting the legal rights and interests of labour migrants. Officials also held working meetings with representatives of enterprises, organisations and relevant Russian bodies to discuss labour recruitment, available vacancies, matching citizens’ qualifications to labour-market needs, fair pay and timely payment of wages, as well as compliance with occupational safety rules.
