Tajikistan's finance minister meets leadership of the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development in Bangkok

Today, 2026-10-15, a meeting took place in Bangkok, Kingdom of Thailand, between Tajikistan's Minister of Finance Fayziddin Kahhorzoda and the leadership of the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development, according to Khovar citing Tajikistan's Ministry of Finance. Kahhorzoda expressed gratitude for the fund's useful cooperation and its substantial contribution to the implementation of the republic's priority projects, with particular attention given to the continued construction of the Rogun hydropower plant. The fund asked for support in speeding up financing for the first phase and in signing financing agreements for the second and third phases of the project. At the end of the meeting, the participants exchanged views on implementing priority projects in health care, education, transport and other sectors.
