Tajikistan and the Republic of Korea aim to expand investment and digital cooperation
On 7 October, Tajikistan’s Minister of Economic Development and Trade and the executive director of KOICA’s Global Leaders Programme Department discussed new joint projects, investment, digitalisation, training and intellectual property protection.
Dushanbe, 8 October 2026 — Tajikistan’s Minister of Economic Development and Trade, Abdurahmon Abdurakhmonzoda, and Kim Yong Ran, Executive Director of the Global Leaders Programme Department at the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), discussed the implementation of new joint projects.
The two sides also discussed the development of trade and economic cooperation, attracting investment, digitalising sectors, training highly qualified personnel and protecting intellectual property.
