Commentary on the President of the Republic of Tajikistan's decree on celebrating the 40th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan

Khovar reports that the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, has identified national self-awareness and the respect and protection of national sacred values, including independence and freedom, as key tasks for the state and the Government. The report also refers to the path of building the homeland and the state, and to raising living standards and quality of life in conditions of peace and stability.

It further says that, over the past five years, the people of Tajikistan have shown their commitment to marking the 35th anniversary of State Independence by standing alongside the state and the Government in building a civilised and advanced nation. The article says the aim is to leave future generations a prosperous, beautiful and developed homeland.
