Representatives of Tajikistan are taking part in the 70th session of the IAEA General Conference
A Tajik delegation led by Nigina Alizoda, Deputy Foreign Minister of Tajikistan, is participating in the 70th IAEA General Conference in Vienna.
The 70th session of the General Conference of the International Atomic Energy Agency began on 14 September 2026 at the Vienna International Centre in Austria and will continue until 18 September.
A Tajik delegation led by Nigina Alizoda, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, is taking part in the session. This was reported to Khovar by the Agency for Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Security of the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan.
The report says Tajikistan's active participation in the conference is a logical continuation of the state's constructive and forward-looking policy aimed at strengthening peace and stability, international security, environmental protection and the use of modern technologies for sustainable development.
