Official celebration of the 35th anniversary of Tajikistan’s State Independence held in St Petersburg

According to the General Consulate of the Republic of Tajikistan in St Petersburg, the event took place in St Petersburg on 2026-09-14.

Representatives of the St Petersburg government, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Legislative Assembly of St Petersburg, the diplomatic corps, political and business circles, cultural figures and compatriots attended the ceremony. A cultural exhibition was also organised during the gathering, presenting visitors with Tajikistan’s rich history and culture, distinctive nature and the achievements of independent Tajikistan through examples of folk crafts, books and photographs.
