Kyrgyz Cinema Days at Dushanbe's Navruz cinema: three Kyrgyz films to be screened

In Dushanbe, as part of the third National Film Award Taji Somon, which runs from 2026-10-15 to 2026-10-20, Kyrgyz Cinema Days are taking place today.

At the Navruz cinema in the capital, audiences will be shown three new films from the Kyrgyz Republic: “Farmoish”, “Mo du nafar” and “Asir”. The programme gives viewers a chance to see examples of contemporary Kyrgyz cinema and to learn about Kyrgyz culture, traditions and everyday life through film.

The report says the Cinema Days offer a useful platform to present national cinema achievements and to broaden cultural dialogue between Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan.
