Fifth volume of 'History of the Tajik People' presented

According to Khovar, citing the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan, the volume covers historical events from the founding of the Sasanian Empire to the formation of the independent Tajik states of the Tahirids and Saffarids in Greater Khorasan.

The authors used 289 historical sources, 332 academic monographs, 283 scholarly articles and 132 items of literature in English and German. Participants said the academic publication was a worthy gift in 2026, a year designated for expanding improvement and construction work and for strengthening national self-awareness.
