Cooperation between the Social Insurance and Pensions Agency and the World Bank is set to deepen

On 8 October 2026, the Social Insurance and Pensions Agency under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan discussed the development of information infrastructure, the digitalisation of processes, stronger cooperation between state bodies and the effective use of digital data.

Agency Director Abdurahmon Halimzod met representatives of the World Bank, including Anna Sukhova and Ivan Shulgaro. The sides reviewed implementation of the project "Modernisation of Social Protection and Economic Integration in Tajikistan" and further areas of cooperation.

They also discussed the status of individual project components, monitoring and evaluation of results, procurement and financial management, as well as environmental and social risks.
