Tajik farmers exceed this year’s plan for repeated sowing

According to the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tajikistan, repeated sowing had been carried out on 203,946 hectares by 2026-09-01. The figure amounts to 107 percent of the plan.

The report also says that this year cereals were sown on 115,435 hectares, rice on 16,285 hectares, vegetables on 23,338 hectares, potatoes on 815 hectares, melons and gourds on 7,434 hectares, technical crops on 3,491 hectares, and fodder crops on 53,433 hectares.
