China firmly condemns US and Zionist regime attacks in talks with first vice president

Li Qiang said the actions by the Zionist regime and the United States against Iran amounted to “open aggression” carried out during negotiations and without the authorisation of the UN Security Council. He stressed that Beijing’s position in condemning these actions is clear and firm.

The Chinese premier also said his country opposes unilateral US sanctions and wants the Islamabad agreement restored. According to him, China will continue to defend the lawful rights of the Islamic Republic of Iran in international forums.

Li Qiang added that Tehran and Beijing share a determination to expand bilateral ties, and said the two countries and peoples should further strengthen their friendship.
