By order of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, and the Head of the Executive Office of the President, items from the historical and cultural heritage of the Tajik people are being presented at the Museum of Civilisations in Rome for visitors and tourists in Italy. The exhibits belong to the ancient period of the Tajik people and are shown alongside the development of Ancient Rome, reflecting the historical and cultural standing of the Tajik nation. Sherali Khojazoda, director of the Agency for the Protection of Historical and Cultural Heritage under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, said the exhibition is an example of cultural and humanitarian cooperation with Italy. He added that European visitors will be able to become acquainted with national architecture, customs, history and civilisation, as well as the achievements of Tajikistan’s independence period.
