First Central Asia artificial intelligence innovation hub presented in Berlin with NVIDIA support

DUSHANBE, 2026-10-23 /Khovar/. At the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan in the Federal Republic of Germany, a presentation was held of the first artificial intelligence innovation hub in Central Asia (AI Innovation Hub). The hub is to be established on the Area AI platform in Dushanbe with support from NVIDIA. The event was held as part of the international NVIDIA GTC Berlin 2026 conference. It was attended by Shilpa Kolhatkar, director of NVIDIA's global AI Nations programme, as well as representatives of international technology companies including Armada, VEON, DataVolt, Perplexity and Supermicro. Imomudin Sattorov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Federal Republic of Germany, underlined the importance of artificial intelligence as one of Tajikistan's priority state policy areas and said the launch of the centre with NVIDIA support would help advance the goals of the UN General Assembly resolution on the role of artificial intelligence in the sustainable development of Central Asia.
