Meeting with entrepreneurs and investors of the country

On 2026-10-14, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation Emomali Rahmon, met entrepreneurs and investors of the country at the Palace of Unity on Entrepreneurs’ Day. He congratulated private-sector representatives and highlighted their contribution to nation-building, domestic production and the country’s progress.

The meeting noted the role of entrepreneurs in building and renovating more than 36,000 production, social and infrastructure facilities for the 35th anniversary of state independence, as well as in the development of the private sector, investment, employment and production and service projects. Emomali Rahmon thanked domestic and foreign investors and pointed to state support, including tax and customs relief, electronic services and the extension of the moratorium on inspections until 1 January 2029.

He also called for further digitalisation of production and administration, stronger entrepreneurship in remote and mountainous districts, and more investment in industry, agriculture and tourism. The meeting ended with remarks by several entrepreneurs from Dushanbe, Badakhshan, Khatlon and Sughd.
