President Emomali Rahmon sets priorities for the effective use of investment

DUSHANBE, 2026-10-14. The President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation Emomali Rahmon, said on 14 October at a meeting with the country's entrepreneurs and investors that in conditions of intense global competition, the effectiveness of investment use is extremely important alongside the volume of investment.

He said attracted investment should be directed to creating new production capacities, introducing modern technologies, providing employment, increasing exports, and further improving the level and quality of life of the population. Rahmon added that investment agreements with domestic and foreign companies should help implement important industrial and energy projects.
