PREPARING FOR WINTER: Khujand health facilities get ready for the cold season

Sogd regional officials inspected the readiness of hospitals and maternity centres in Khujand for the 2026-2027 autumn-winter period.
Dushanbe, 2026-10-14 /Khovar National News Agency/. The leadership of Sogd region in Khujand reviewed the operations and preparedness of City Hospital No. 2, City Clinical Hospital No. 1, and the city and regional maternity centres for the autumn-winter period of 2026-2027.
During the visit, attention was given to the state of readiness of the medical institutions for the cold season. According to the report, they are supplied with coal, firewood and other necessary fuel, and use a modern heating system.
New buildings and facilities have also been constructed to improve diagnosis and treatment, and modern medical equipment has been provided. The regional head instructed officials to ensure full readiness for winter and to pay special attention to the quality of medical services, patient conditions and the protection of mothers and children.
