Presentation of the UN General Assembly resolution on the International Day of Safe, Secure and Trustworthy Artificial Intelligence at the OSCE

In Prague, during the OSCE Annual Meeting on Economic and Environmental Issues, the UN General Assembly resolution on the International Day of Safe, Secure and Trustworthy Artificial Intelligence was presented. It had been adopted on 31 August this year at the initiative of the Republic of Tajikistan.

Tajikistan's Permanent Representative to the OSCE, Manuchehr Jobir, said at the presentation that the adoption of this resolution continues the consistent policy of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation Emomali Rahmon, in the development of artificial intelligence, new technologies and their responsible use.

He said the resolution would provide a favourable basis for strengthening international cooperation and sharing advanced experience.
