14 October is Entrepreneurs' Day: entrepreneurs are a major force driving Tajikistan's economy

Today, 14 October, Tajikistan marks Entrepreneurs' Day. Khovar reports that this professional observance was established to recognise the contribution of entrepreneurs to the development and progress of the republic's economy and to encourage the private sector.

The report also notes that on 14 October 2014, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, respected Emomali Rahmon, held an official meeting with the country's entrepreneurs and investors.
