National Bank of Tajikistan staff familiarised with construction of Roghun HPP

On 2026-10-05, the leadership and staff of the National Bank of Tajikistan visited the construction site of the Roghun hydropower plant and observed the construction works, the building of the main facilities and the work already completed. This was reported by Khovar, citing the National Bank of Tajikistan.

National Bank Chairman Firdavs Tolibzoda said the Roghun HPP has not only major energy importance but also high national and historical significance for the people of Tajikistan. He said the implementation of this major project has become one of the important directions of the country’s economic and social development.

It was also noted that direct familiarity with the construction process gave the bank staff an opportunity to assess the scale of the project realistically. Information was provided on the extent of the work completed and the role of specialists and workers in delivering the facility.
