“Tajikistan - the Land of Unique Monuments”: Tajik historical and cultural heritage displayed in Rome

An international exhibition titled “Tajikistan - the Land of Unique Monuments” has opened in Rome, presenting 80 historical and cultural monuments of the Tajik people. The display covers several historical periods.

The exhibits include archaeological finds from Takhti-Sangin, Ajina-Teppe, Sayyod, ancient Penjikent and Kofirqala, as well as Sogdian inscriptions and examples of traditional handicrafts. The exhibition also features monuments already included in the UNESCO World Heritage List, together with sites proposed for inclusion.
